close up of the drawer - I had a hard time getting a good blend of damage and care.

I love doing metal surface imperfections, there so fun to do- this one was more of a polished a few times but still damaged look. Granted Redshift gives it a very heavy clean look compared to the Realtime model

1940's Antique Hand Cranked Coffee Grinder - Game & Film Ready

3D model of an antique 1940s Manual Coffee Grinder. Last time I was home my Parents found my Grandmas coffee grinder. It looked well looked after minus a few dings here and there - I loved the shape and the build of it and I'd just come off a Lighting gig and wanted to get stuck back in with Substance Painter and Maya. So here's the final renders of the finished build. Its a combination of Multiple coffee grinder styles whilst still keeping in touch with the home one.

A lot of these coffee grinders you find are pretty beat up and heavily weathered, for this one I wanted it to have a antique feel but one which has been pretty well looked after , minus a few dinks here and there.

Modelled in Maya, Textured in substance, Lit and rendered in Houdini Redshift. Ive also included a RT Marmoset model, granted its not as intense as the 4k redshift renders but I feel happy knowing it still holds up as a game asset and film quality asset.

This was one of those I could of spent ages and ages on but I wanted to say enough and call it done.

Hope you like it, was really really fun to do and honestly excited to jump into my next prop project!
